DEDICATION
Kyle - My first born - made my dreams of motherhood a reality and Continues to be A Blessing in life
He had to die not to just show me that formal suicide prevention training fails but because he was my own child to create a deep desire if not an obsession to understand this failure. This research fuels my passion to prevent suicide . My passion is the vital force behind Dream to Live and KYVO . I wouldn't have the ability to do any of this without him or have the passion for it.
It is only because of that passion that my worst tragedy became my greatest blessing through KYVO. Kyle is very much a part of everything that I do within KYVO. His death is part of his life and part of him. Accepting this has allowed him to bring a meaning purpose to my life that I have never before experienced. In return through KYVO I give meaning and purpose to his life that he otherwise wouldn't have had.
The bond between us as mother and child is strengthen by KYVO as together we are better force to to help others than either would be alone. It is through death that we work together in life to make life better for others. I couldn't do it without him. I am so lucky and proud to be his mom. Even in death, my life is richer and sweeter because of him and as a parent I could not not ask for anything more from my children.
